RECLAIM

🎬 Welcome to Reclaim!
WELCOME
You made it here.
I don't mean to the programme. I mean through everything that came before it. The relationship that took more than it gave. The years of carrying what wasn't yours to carry. The moment, whether you chose it or it was chosen for you, when it ended. The strange, quiet, slightly terrifying space that followed.
You made it through all of that. And now you're here.
Before we begin I want to tell you three things.
The first thing.
You are here because you most likely spent a significant portion of your life being everything to everyone else, and somewhere in the middle of all of that, you got buried. Not gone. Not lost. Buried. There is a difference. Lost means you don't know where you are. Buried means you are exactly where you always were. We're not here to put everything back the way it was. We're here to move the weight off, see clearly what's worth keeping, and build from there.
That is what this programme is for.
The second thing.
This is not a self improvement programme. The premise of self improvement is that there was something inadequate about the self that existed before. There wasn't. You were running a household, a family, a relationship, often a career, simultaneously, for years, while also managing the emotional lives of everyone around you. The fact that you did all of that and are still standing, still functioning, still capable of sitting here and beginning something new, tells you everything about the woman we're about to go and find.
What we are doing here is not improvement. It is reclamation. Taking back what was always yours.
The third thing.
This programme will ask things of you. Not performance. Not positivity. Not the version of yourself you show the world when you're holding it together. It will ask for honesty. About what happened, what it cost you, who you were before it, and who you are now. Some days that will feel manageable. Some days it will feel like too much. Both of those days are part of the same process.
HOW RECLAIM WORKS
Thirty days. Three sections of ten days each.
Every day you will receive content from me, a video to watch, on-page content to read. On contributor days you will hear from a specialist, a psychologist, a menopause expert, a family therapist, and others, each one chosen because they understand this specific woman in this specific moment.
There are audio walks with me - they are deliberately gentle, meditative, not too much speaking, nothing required of you other than to listen and relax. I’ve always maintained that it’s the slow stuff that moves the needle most... making time for these gentle things is very useful in calming the nervous system.
Here is something to hold onto from the start. This is thirty different days, written for thirty different moments, and not every one of them will be your exact story. Some will land like they were written about you and no one else. Others will sit a little to the side of where you actually are, and that is not a sign you've come to the wrong place. It's simply what happens when something is built for the whole shape of this and not one single version of it. Take what fits you. Leave what doesn't. Not every day has to be yours for the programme to be yours.
ALONGSIDE EACH DAY'S CONTENT, YOU'LL FIND TWO THINGS: YOUR JOURNAL AND YOUR TOOLKIT.
The journal is simple. Most days there's a single prompt, because some days you won't have the energy for more and that's exactly as it should be. On the harder days there might be two. If you ever want to go further, there are more prompts waiting in your toolkit, but you never have to. One honest answer is enough.
Your toolkit sits with you from day one. It's everything you can reach for whenever you need it, not a daily task to tick off. Breathwork, meditation and somatic practices from Brittney, to move what settles in the body. Meditation, EFT tapping and EMDR music tracks from me, for the days the mind won't switch off. And a set of written tools, more journalling prompts, mirror work and affirmations, for the moments you want to steady yourself or go a little deeper on your own. Some days I'll point you towards a particular tool. Other days I'll leave you to it. The content names things. Your journal and your toolkit are how you move them.
The three sections follow a natural arc.
Section one is called Find Your Feet. Days one to ten. Before we fix anything, we name everything. This section may be the hardest because it asks you to look clearly at what happened and what it cost you. Stay with it.
Section two is called Come Back to Yourself. Days eleven to twenty. Who were you before all of this. What did you want, before you started wanting things for everyone else. This section is where she starts to come back into focus.
Section three is called Build Her Forward. Days twenty one to thirty. Permission, possibility, and the life she is allowed to want. This is where it gets good.
A WORD ON THE EXPERTS
The specialists in this programme are not here to lend it credibility with a name and a logo. They are here to teach. Each one was chosen because they do this work for a living, with women exactly like you, and each was asked to go further than the surface, to give you the depth and the detail you'd get sitting across from them, not the version that fits in a caption.

All of our contributors have work worth following, a practice you can approach, a book, a resource, and you'll find their details alongside their session. If something they say lands, you can take it further in your own time. This programme is a beginning, and some of these people are worth knowing well beyond it.
That depth is the difference. Most things you'll have read about all of this were written to be quick. This was built to be enough.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN: YOUR STARTING POINT
Before day one, take ten minutes with these questions. Write your answers in an email and send them to feedback@dadhugsforyoursoul.com, and at the end of the 30 days, we'll send them back to you and the distance between then and now will tell you everything.
Where am I right now, emotionally, honestly, in one paragraph?
What do I most want to feel differently about in thirty days?
What am I most scared this programme will ask me to face?
What does reclaiming myself actually mean to me?
There are no right answers. Just honest ones.
A NOTE ON BRITTNEY
Alongside my voice throughout this programme you will hear from Brittney Emley, breathwork and somatic practitioner. Brittney works with the body while I work with the mind, because what we carry emotionally lives physically too, in our nervous systems, our breath, our muscles, our sleep. The somatic practices she has built for your toolkit are designed to move what the content brings up, rather than letting it settle back in as tension or numbness or exhaustion.

Do not skip Brittney's sessions. They are not add ons. They are half the programme.
ONE LAST THING
This was never about going back. The woman you were before gave everything she had to everyone around her, and some of that was the best of her, and some of it was the habit that buried her. We are not here to rebuild that. We are here to keep what was good and strong and worth carrying, and to leave the rest where it fell.
You're not here to become someone new. You're not here to return to who you were either. You're here to take the best of her forward, into a life that finally has room for her in it.
